On August 8, 2023, Maui experienced a tragedy off the scales of understanding. I was safe at home but 
devastated for this wondrous, sacred island. 
The days that followed with no power, cell or internet, the Napili Plaza hub become a blessed lifeline. I witnessed the wondrous spirit of the Hawaiian community and humanity come together and help each other through a historical nightmare.

As a professional entertainer on Maui I get to meet a lot of people, many whose lives are forever changed. Human spirit calls us to move forward, one step at a time. When it's time to begin again, I'll be a part of loving this island back to life and getting families settled into their new normal.
